If you’ve ever felt stuck copying the instructor or unsure how to take the next step, this course will give you the tools and confidence to break through.

With the guidance of Mark Glavina, you’ll revisit essential watercolour techniques—not for technical perfection, but as part of a broader framework for stronger design and composition. Each week, you’ll be challenged to interpret a new reference photo, create thumbnail sketches, and build a personalized plan for your painting. You’ll also dive into the fundamentals of design—value, shape, colour, and composition—to create thoughtful, expressive watercolour pieces.

Students are welcome to bring their own reference material if desired.
