Our Studio

The Phoenix Art Workshop is a privately run visual arts centre with art classes emphasizing visual literacy, design, and individual creativity for adults and young people. Our focus is largely centered on painting and drawing mediums, though we offer classes in classical anatomy, sculpture, and modern art techniques and mediums. Our class sizes are small, ensuring enough one on one instruction for a more traditional mentoring approach between teacher and student. We offer four-week continuous classes, seasonal classes, and weekend workshops featuring guest instructors. Our Studio is located at 12211 1st Ave, Richmond, BC, one block south of our retail store.
