Surnoor Singh leads this three week workshop exploring the anatomy of the urban landscapes in watercolour. This workshop will explore the idea of capturing the essence of the urban environment, its hustle and bustle and fast activity, in watercolour. We will delve into the process of planning and organizing a composition, and establishing a mood in the scene.

For the first class: A sketch pad, graphite pencils 2b to 6b, eraser
Week 2 & 3, these will also be discussed at the end of the first class:
Watercolor paper: Fabriano 140lb cold press traditional white, sheet or block. atleast 9 by 12 inch.
Colors: Cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, burnt sienna, burnt umber, cadmium red (not deep), alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow medium, yellow ochre, sap green, white gouache.
brushes: a mixture of flat, mop, and round brushes.
Various other little supplies.
