Thursday Watercolour + Draw Open Studio
November 5 – 26
Dive into watercolour exploration under the expert guidance of Scott Pleydell-Pearce! Students in this open studio can choose their own subject matter and project, and work from drawing through to finished watercolour with Scott’s thoughtful direction and support. From clear and accurate to looser and bold, Scott can help you turn your painting in new and stronger directions.
Whether you are working on a landscape, an abstract study, or a detailed portrait, our weekly Watercolour Open Studio offers the time, space, and encouragement to paint what inspires you most.
Unlike structured step-by-step classes, this relaxed session gives you total freedom to select your own subject matter and explore the painting style you feel most comfortable with.
What to Expect
Tailored One-on-One Guidance: Artist Scott Pleydell-Pearce works individually with each painter throughout the morning. Whether you need help breaking down a complex drawing, fine-tuning your composition and design, or mastering dynamic watercolour techniques (from wet-on-wet washes to precision dry-brush work), Scott provides practical advice tailored directly to your goals.
Warm & Welcoming Atmosphere: We believe the best creative work happens when you feel completely at ease. These sessions are light, fun, and non-judgemental — designed to let you relax, experiment, and enjoy the creative process alongside a community of fellow painters.
Flexible Growth: Work at your own pace on ongoing projects, test out new methods, or simply enjoy three dedicated hours of painting with expert feedback on hand whenever you need it.
“No pressure, no judgement — just dedicated time to paint what you love with supportive guidance to help you take your watercolour work to the next level.”
