Join Phoenix Art Workshop founder Mark Glavina as you discover drawing skills that will awaken the artist within.  Mark shares his knowledge of art and drawing through a series of exercises designed to get student to see like an artist and quickly develop drawing skills based on sound fundamentals and proven classical techniques.  In this class students will experiment with graphic drawing pencils, charcoal, and pen and ink.

In- studio classes are limited to 8 students, with online student receiving a full class PDF of exercises and explanations as well as a recording of the in-class demonstration each week.  The online version follows the studio class week by week, with recordings being available for the entire week to review projects.

  • Large Blending Stump
  • White Vinyl Eraser
  • Kneadable Eraser
  • Two-hole Pencil Sharpener
  • 9 x 12 Sketch Book
  • Soft Black Charcoal Stick or Conte
  • Soft White Charcoal Stick or Conte
  • 2x Large Bull Dog Clips
  • Drawing board 18×24
  • Mixed Paper pack 18×24 ( newsprint, Kraft Paper and Black Drawing Paper) Avaiable at Phoenix Art Workshop in one convienent package)
